Each year, aids, tuberculosis and malaria are responsible for over five million deaths. The Global Fund to fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria, created in January 2002, has the mission to attract, manage, disburse and control additional financial resources for local, national and international programs to fight these pandemics.
